Investing in Continuous Improvement

• Reduced Incineration – Lower Emissions
• Sharps Compliance has recently invested in a new autoclave system to sanitize medical waste with pressure and steam before disposal as part of the normal solid waste stream. The new system will reduce hazardous material released to the atmosphere.
• Mail Back System for Unused and Expired Pharmaceuticals
• A new system from Sharps addresses the growing threat to our water systems posed by improper disposal of pharmaceuticals in sinks and toilets. Currently available to pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacies, home healthcare companies and municipalities, it's just one more example of how Sharps Compliance is driving change through innovation.

Sharps Compliance has prevented improper disposal of more than 624 million syringes from the solid waste stream and kept over 123,000 pounds of unused medications from potentially harming our citizens and the environment.
