The 30-gallon container holds up to 50 lbs. of used health care materials including sharps containers. Prepaid return freight is included for up to 50 lbs. A charge of $1.50 per pound for weight in excess of 50 pounds will be billed.
The 30-gallon container will hold up to ten (10), 5-quart containers on the return.
The SharpStar™ family of containers is engineered with controls to prevent overfilling and limit accidental or intentional access to the container contents.

Return your sealed Covidien SharpStar™ Sharps Containers and used healthcare materials for proper treatment using the 30-Gallon TakeAway Recovery System. The 30-Gallon TakeAway Recovery System is shipped pre-loaded with six (6), 5-Quart Covidien SharpStar™ Sharps Containers. When the sharps containers are ready for treatment, package them securely into the 30-gallon container and ship it using the pre-paid return UPS freight to our fully-permitted treatment facility.
The 30-gallon container will hold up to ten (10), 5-quart containers on the return.
Prepaid return freight is included for up to 50 lbs. A charge of $1.50 per pound for weight in excess of 50 pounds will be billed.
